ASSOCIATION EVENTS
PUBLIC SHOW HOURS FOR ALL FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES:
Saturday 10:00 AM TO 5:00 PM
Sunday 10:00 AM TO 4:00 PM
IWCA MEMBERSHIPS: (For Wildfowl Carvers) Available at show
CARVING COMPETION JUDGING:
Judging will commence at 9:30 AM on Saturday and Continue until
completion. Floating Decoy judging will take place Saturday at noon
in the tank outside the building. Carvers shall not communicate with
the judges during judging.
CARVINGS FOR SALE:
Carvers may indicate an entry is for sale and deal directly
with any buyers. A "for sale" table will be provided but not staffed or
secured by the host committee. Business cards may be placed near
the carvings of carvers wishing to advertise. This must not be done
until the judging has been completed.
DISPLAY:
Please bring any carvings you have previously carved and entered for
"display only" to help promote wildfowl. We will have a "Previous Winners
and Carvings" display table to further enhance the show, for public view.
BANQUET:
Saturday Night: Cocktails @ 5:30 pm Dinner @ 6:00 pm Price $40.00
COCKTAIL BIRDS FOR "DINNER AUCTION":
All carvers are encouraged to carve a miniature cocktail bird specifically for the Dinner Auction. These
birds will be judged as to first, second, third and honorable mention, and then auctioned complete
with the ribbon they win. Proceeds will be used to help offset show costs.
Have some fun, and promote the show!
